- The use of unitary package water-cooled air-conditioning equipment for office condominiums in 1980′s
- The use of air-to-air heat exchangers to pre-cool fresh air supply into buildings
- The trapping of compressor discharge gas super heat for heating water either for domestic use of reheat energy in industrial installations
- The use of higher temperature differentials in the design of chilled water piping system, resulting to lower chilled water flow rates thereby reducing pipe sizes and pumping energy requirments
- The use of jet nozzles for wider coverage of airflow with minimal duct work
- The proper calculation and balancing of airflow and differential pressures in between rooms
- Advocacy to good indoor air quality
